April 17, 2015

Disabled the news feed at the top of the page until further notice. I disabled it because every time I would scroll to the next news text, it would reset the Shoutbox (at the top of the main home page), making it jump back down to the bottom. Really annoying if you are trying to read older posts in the shoutbox. I will keep it disabled (I wasn't really using it for much anyways) until I can figure out a way to fix the issue, if I decide to.

Implanted the feature to give all new members of the forums a default Deathstroke avatar picture, instead of the default blank face picture. You can always change your profile/avatar picture by editing your profile.

Moved the Shoutbox to the top of the boards (just below the Banner, Navigation, News, Participated and just above where the boards begin) to make it easier to find and more convent to check. Also the Shoutbox now only appears on the Home (main) page. I did this so it doesn't clutter the forums. I also made the Shoutbox smaller and more compact, so you see the same amount of replies but the overall box is a bit smaller.
Added fun little statistics, that only members can see, that slightly increase based on your post count. The stats appear just under your "Mini Profile" to the left of all your posts. I tried to make all stats mercenary/Deathstroke related as possible.
Added a "Back to Top" or "Go to Bottom" arrow to the right of every page. Just click the arrow to go back up to the top of your current page. If you are already at the top, click the arrow (which should now be pointing downwards) to go to the bottom of your current page.
Added a hovering bar, that is constantly at the top of the page, when viewing a thread. This bar allows you to easily do actions such as post a reply or go to the next page, all without having to scroll back up to the top of the thread.

Slightly tweaked the post count stats. Removed the "Ammo" stat and replaced it with "Heroes Beaten" stat.

Changed the colors to the "Back to Top"/"Go to Bottom" feature. I tried to make it a bit easier to notice, since it was kind of hard to see before.

Slight tweaks to the post count stats so members with lower post counts can see more number changes sooner.
Removed the ProBoards "Avatar Builder".
Added 12 pre-uploaded Deathstroke "Forum Avatars" that you can choose from when picking your avatar, if you do not wish to upload your own.
Added a small and brief notification to pop up, when you visit the Home Page, letting you know when you have any private messages waiting to be read. The notification can be closed and will automatically close after 10 seconds.
Added a number notification that will show, next to the name of the forums, on your browser if you get a new notification. Such as a new private message. This is helpful if you leave the forums up while browsing multiple tabs in your browser. Or if you minimize the forums to check for anything new later.
Added a "Hide" button to the Shoutbox which now collapses it, hiding most of the Shoutbox. Simply click "Show posts" to open it back up.
Added a feature that automatically resizes big pictures to make them not take up as much of the forums. Click the picture to be taken to a full size version of it.
Removed the "Friends/Followers" feature.

Added a Sidebar on the Home Page (it should be to the right of the page and just under the banner) that lets you know about recently updated threads. This both tells you of new threads created and new replies to threads.
