heroes you hate

I don't really think I HATE any heroes. Even ones I dislike I can find some things I like about them.

Like I probably dislike Superman the most. He's just too damn powerful, IMO. It's boring. Sure, his weakness is a green rock, but it's a RARE green rock. He is immune to pretty much everything else. BORING. But even Superman... I did like it when he went crazy and became evil for a little while. All the other heroes trying to take him down. That was pretty cool.

Another hero I dislike is Green Lantern. I can't really pinpoint why, but I just never cared for him. Not in the movies, not in cartoons, and not even in the games that he is in.


And while I am not trying to change your opinion on Batman, I thought I'd explain why I like him. I like him because he is a dark hero. His parents dying (as cliche as it might be) made him very distant, cold and dark. I like that. Same reason I like Punisher. Hell, Batman even has plans on how to take down all the other superheroes on his computer. The man is cold as ice. I love Kevin Conroy's depiction of Batman (Kevin Conroy voices Batman in most cartoons and in the Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and the upcomming Arkham Knight video games), because he's a badass and he knows it. Very cocky, which adds an even deeper layer to his dark/cold persona. That's why, to me, Kevin Conroy will always be the true Batman. The movie versions... Eh. But The Animated Series (and video games)? Hell Yeah.

Me and you differ a bit there.
I think DC is better (albeit very slightly) than Marvel in every aspect except for movies and characters. Marvel makes way better movies than DC does. But DC makes better TV shows (Arrow, for example), make better comics (IMO), better video games (although I love Marvel Heroes and Ultimate Alliance games, the Batman Arkham games blows them all out of the water, IMO. Also Injustice was pretty fun for a fighting game.). But I say Marvel has characters. Marvel has awesome people like Venom, Punisher, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Hulk, Iron Man, Carnage, Deadpool, Wolverine, etc. Really the only people I like from DC is Deathstroke, Batman, Azreal, Scarecrow, Doomsday and Green Arrow. I like Joker too but not quite as much as most people. He is way overrated, IMO. And that is coming from a Batman fan! lol

But that's why I love our conversations in Marvel Puzzle Quest and here. We can share our opinions without fear of being bashed for them. If this forum does get more popular, hopefully we don't get any rude trolls. =/
