The rules are pretty simple here, so I expect everyone to follow them accordingly. We are a fun little community with awesome members, so there aren't many restrictions here, and the few there are are mostly common sense rules that I feel don't even need to be mentioned. But regardless, here they are.
That's it! Have fun and treat people nicely!
- No harassing other members. Don't make fun, "troll" or threaten other members of the forums. Joking and friendly ribbing is fine. Just don't take it too far.
- Please post in English only.
- No posting of illegal content. This means no illegal websites or pictures. I know what is considered "illegal" is different in each part of the world, but this forum is hosted in the United States. So anything that would be illegal in the US is off limits on the forum and will be deleted immediately. This includes, but is not limited to, piracy (copyright infringement) websites and underage (under the age of 18) pornography.
- Try to keep the site relatively "Safe for work" (AKA SFW). This is a message board mostly about a comic book supervillain (and an awesome one at that!) and video games. So no need to post porn threads every two seconds. If you want to make a "Not Safe for work" (AKA NSFW) thread in the general section of the forum, then please label in the topic subject that it is NSFW, so members who do not wish to view content like that can avoid it. In most cases, what is considered "NSFW" is anything including nudity or gore. Cussing is fine as long as you don't go insanely overboard with it.
- No spamming. This includes spamming a website link or just posting the same message over and over.
- No posting solely to boost your post count. Such as; Double or Triple-posting or posting a random off-topic reply that adds nothing to the conversation in the thread. We have some fun little things that are associated with our post counts right now. So please don't ruin it and make us remove these things because people want to abuse the system by posting a bunch simply to boost their post count stats and not to actually contribute to the boards.
NOTICE: Posting again to bump a thread IS FINE. But please do so after a reasonable amount of time has passed. What's considered "a reasonable amount of time"? Usually about a day or longer. When in doubt, just edit your previous post if no one new has posted a reply. Bumping really old threads (AKA "Necro'ing") is also fine, as long as you have new information to post on the subject. - No inappropriate or offensive display names.
- Please no advertising or referral links in your posts or signature. If you would like to put them somewhere in your profile, then that is fine.
That's it! Have fun and treat people nicely!
